Seizly is the calm way to keep a seizure diary — for you, or for someone you care for. Record a seizure in seconds, keep medication on track, and share a clear report with your neurologist. Logging your data is free, forever.

Seizly is a journal, not a device. It does not detect or predict seizures and does not replace your doctor. It simply helps you keep the clear, honest record your neurologist relies on to adjust your care.

Why people choose Seizly

  • Log in seconds. Pick a type and save — duration, awareness, recovery, place and triggers are all optional and can be filled in later.
  • A caregiver can log too. When a seizure makes it hard to record your own, a parent or partner can do it for you.
  • Free to log, always. Your seizures, medication, triggers and calendar are never locked behind a paywall.
  • Private by design. Your journal is encrypted, backed up to your own iCloud, and never shared with anyone. Delete everything in a single tap.

Everything in one place

  • A clear calendar and full history of every seizure.
  • Medication list with gentle reminders — because a missed dose is a common trigger.
  • Triggers you can tag in a tap: short sleep, stress, missed medication, alcohol, menstruation, flashing lights and more.
  • Seizure-free stretches, celebrated calmly. A seizure is an event, not an identity.

Seizly Pro

  • Neurologist report — a clean PDF of your frequency, durations, types, triggers, medication, adherence and side effects, ready for your appointment.
  • Patterns — see what tends to accompany your seizures, described plainly (never as a cause).
  • Frequency trends, side effects, questions to ask, CSV export and Home Screen widgets.

Subscription

Seizly Pro is available as an auto-renewable subscription (yearly, with a 7-day free trial, or monthly) or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Logging and your data always stay free. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Account Settings.

Made in the spirit of Purple Day, for everyone living with epilepsy.

How it works

How does Seizly work?

From “Log a seizure” to “Share a report”, in 5 steps.

  1. Log a seizure

Pick a type and save; add duration, awareness, recovery, place, or triggers later if you like.

  2. Track daily notes

Use "How you’re feeling" to note an aura or a strange moment, and answer "Was it a seizure?" with "Not sure" when needed.

  3. Keep medication on schedule

Add your medication list and rely on gentle reminders to avoid missed doses.

  4. Review your calendar

See every seizure, note, and daily check-in together by tapping any day.

  5. Share a report

With Seizly Pro, generate a neurologist report or export your data as CSV before your appointment.

In depth

Seizly, in detail

How does Seizly help you prepare for a neurologist appointment?

Seizly Pro turns your entries into a clean PDF report covering frequency, durations, types, triggers, medication, adherence, and side effects, ready to bring to your appointment. You can also export your full history as a CSV file if your neurologist prefers raw data.

Notes logged with "How you’re feeling" get their own section in the report and their own CSV export, kept separate from your seizure count.

Can someone else log a seizure for you?

Yes. When a seizure makes it hard to record your own, a parent, partner, or other caregiver can open Seizly and log it for you, using the same fields you would use yourself.

What happens when you’re not sure it was a seizure?

The question "Was it a seizure?" now includes "Not sure" as a real answer, so you’re never forced to decide in the moment. You can also log "How you’re feeling" at any time, to note an aura or a strange few seconds without labeling it as anything.

Notes are never counted as seizures: they never affect your seizure count or your seizure-free stretch, and they show up in your calendar with their own marker.

Release notes

What’s new in Seizly

Version

1.1

Log the moments you’re not sure about.

  • New — “How you’re feeling”: note an aura, a strange few seconds, or simply how you feel, as many times a day as you like. Every note is saved with its own time.
  • “Was it a seizure?” now offers “Not sure” as a real answer. You never have to decide.
  • It all shows in your calendar. Days with notes get their own marker, and tapping a day shows your seizures, your notes and your check-in together.
  • Your daily check-in stays visible — read it back or change it any time, for today or any past day.
  • Notes get their own section in the doctor’s report, and their own CSV export.

Notes are never counted as seizures: they never affect your seizure count or your seizure-free stretch.
