Overview
Baggd is a life list for people who climb mountains. Instead of scattered notes or spreadsheets, it keeps one record of every peak you have stood on, from your first climb to your most recent.
Mountains don’t go by just one name. Baggd shows each one the way your own language actually calls it, so a French reader sees Cervin, a German reader sees Matterhorn and a Japanese reader sees 富士山, across 286 peaks and 136 mountain ranges.
Baggd is the life list for people who climb mountains.
Baggd speaks fifty languages, and so do the mountains in it. Where a French reader sees Cervin, a German sees Matterhorn and a Japanese reader sees 富士山 — 286 peaks and 136 mountain ranges carrying the name each language really uses, and never an invented one. Open a peak and Baggd shows you what the rest of the world calls it.
Walk a ridge and log it once. The date, the weather, who you were with, the photo from the top — eight peaks, one day out, one entry.
Complete a round and a certificate arrives in your name. Start the list again and Baggd counts the second round properly, which is what a life list is for.
Peaks, height climbed, days out, your best year, your first and your most recent. The map fills in green as you go, so one glance shows a lifetime in the mountains.
Baggd records that you were there. It does not describe how to get there. Routes, navigation and mountain safety are what maps, guidebooks and good judgement are for.
The built-in lists, checking off with date, weather, companions and photo, the progress map, your counts, and CSV export of everything you have logged.
Unlimited lists at once, custom lists of your own, advanced statistics, completion certificates, GPX import, and home screen widgets.
Everything is on your phone before you leave the road, so logging a peak needs no signal. Your log syncs privately through your own iCloud, and there is no account to make.
Baggd Pro is available as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. The annual plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

Highlights
Baggd is an iPhone app by Develak that logs every peak you summit, shows each mountain’s name in your own language, and tracks your progress privately.
Baggd shows each of its 286 peaks and 136 mountain ranges by the name your own language actually uses, never an invented one.
Log a whole ridge walk once, with the date, weather, who you were with and a photo from the top, instead of one entry per peak.
Pick from built-in lists like the Colorado 14ers, the Alps four-thousand-metre summits, the Munros, the Wainwrights and Japan’s Hundred Famous Mountains.
With Baggd Pro, build custom lists of your own, from a personal fifty to a family challenge.
Finish a list and a certificate arrives in your name, and starting the list again counts the second round properly.
Everything you need is on your phone before you leave the road, and your log syncs privately through your own iCloud with no account to make.
Who it’s for
For hikers who want to tick off the Munros, the Wainwrights, the Colorado 14ers or any other list, one peak at a time.
For climbers who want each summit’s name shown the way their own language actually calls it, wherever they travel.
For families building their own list of peaks to climb together, from local hills to a lifetime round.
For anyone who wants a simple record of every mountain they’ve stood on, without spreadsheets or scattered notes.
How it works
From “Choose a list” to “Finish and get your certificate”, in 4 steps.
Pick a built-in life list such as the Munros, the Alps four-thousanders or the Colorado 14ers, or build your own with Baggd Pro.
After a day out, check off each peak with the date, weather, who you were with and a photo from the top.
Your progress map turns green as you climb, giving you a glance at a lifetime in the mountains.
Complete a list and receive a certificate in your name, then start the round again and have it counted properly.
In depth
Baggd keeps a name for each peak in the language you’re reading in, rather than translating on the fly or inventing a version. Where a French reader sees Cervin, a German reader sees Matterhorn and a Japanese reader sees 富士山, Baggd uses the name each language actually uses across its 286 peaks and 136 mountain ranges.
Opening a peak also shows you what the rest of the world calls it, so the list stays useful if you climb, read guidebooks or talk about mountains in more than one language.
A day out, not each peak, is the unit in Baggd. If you walk a ridge and climb eight summits, you log the date, the weather, who you were with and the photo from the top once, and all eight peaks are credited to that entry.
This keeps your life list close to how a day in the mountains actually unfolds, rather than filling your log with repeated entries for the same outing.
The free version of Baggd gives you the built-in lists, checking off peaks with date, weather, companions and a photo, the progress map, your counts, and CSV export of everything you’ve logged.
Baggd Pro adds unlimited lists at once, custom lists of your own, advanced statistics, completion certificates, GPX import and home screen widgets. Baggd Pro is available as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase, with payment processed by Apple.
