This policy applies to the Feltbook app for iPhone and iPad, published on the App Store by Develak.

Who is responsible

Feltbook is published by Develak, a brand of PRIOMAT LLC, a limited liability company registered in New Mexico, USA (2105 Vista Oeste St NW, Suite E - 1324, Albuquerque, NM 87120, USA). PRIOMAT LLC is responsible for the processing described on this page. For any privacy question, write to contact@develak.com.

Data you enter in Feltbook

Everything you record in Feltbook (entries, notes, photos, settings) is stored in the app’s private storage on your device, where iOS encrypts it with its built-in data protection.

Exports such as PDF or CSV files are created on your device. You decide where to send them; once shared, the recipient’s own practices apply.

We do not receive this data, and we have no server that collects it.

iCloud sync

If you turn on sync, Feltbook stores your data in the private database of your own iCloud account, using Apple’s CloudKit service. It is visible only to you, on the devices signed in to your Apple Account; we have no access to it. Apple stores and encrypts it under the Apple Privacy Policy.

You can turn sync off at any time in Feltbook (where it offers a switch) or in the iCloud settings of your device.

Apple Health

With your explicit permission, Feltbook can read data from or write data to Apple Health. The permission screen shown by iOS lists exactly which data types it asks for. Our commitments:

Access is optional and granted data type by data type; you can refuse or revoke it at any time.
Health data is used only to provide the features of Feltbook, on your device.
It is never used for advertising, marketing or data mining.
It is never sold, rented or shared with third parties, including advertisers, data brokers and analytics providers.
It is never transmitted to us or stored on our servers.
Feltbook only writes to Apple Health data you have recorded or confirmed yourself.

To change what Feltbook can access, go to Settings › Privacy & Security › Health › Feltbook. Data written to Apple Health stays there, under your control, even if you delete the app.

Device permissions

iOS always asks for your permission before Feltbook can use these features, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security:

Microphone — to measure sound in real time. Audio is analyzed on your device and never sent to us.
Location — for the features that need it. Your location stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Camera and photos — for the features that use pictures, such as attaching a photo or scanning a label. Pictures are processed on your device and stay in the app and, if you turn on sync, in your private iCloud.

Purchases and subscriptions

Feltbook is free to download. Optional in-app purchases and subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store, under Apple’s terms.

We never receive your name, e-mail address, payment card or billing address. To unlock paid features and restore purchases, the app checks the transaction information signed by Apple, on your device. Apple sends us sales reports that do not identify you.

Analytics, ads and tracking

Feltbook contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDK, and it never asks for permission to track you. Its App Privacy label on the App Store reads “Data Not Collected”.

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your Apple settings, Apple gives us aggregated usage statistics and crash reports that do not identify you. You can turn this off at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. Apple, which distributes Feltbook and operates the App Store and iCloud, processes data under its own privacy policy.

When you contact us

If you write to us about Feltbook, by e-mail or with our contact form, we receive your name, e-mail address and message, and use them only to answer you. We keep them for 24 months after our last exchange, then delete them.

Deleting your data

Because your data is on your devices and in your own iCloud, you can delete it yourself, at any time:

In the app: use the option to delete your data in the settings of Feltbook, where available.
Delete the app: touch and hold its icon, tap Remove App, then Delete App. This removes the data stored on that device.
iCloud copy: go to Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage, select Feltbook and delete its data.
Apple Health: go to Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › Feltbook, then Delete All Data.
Messages you sent us: write to contact@develak.com and we will erase them.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you (in practice, the messages you sent us), to receive a copy of it, or to object to its use. The GDPR (European Union, United Kingdom, Switzerland) and US state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA give many people these rights; we honour them for everyone.

Write to contact@develak.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We respond within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority, such as the CNIL in France.

Children

Feltbook is not directed to children under 13 (under 16 in the European Economic Area, unless local law sets a lower age), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

If Feltbook starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the app’s App Privacy label before releasing that version. The date at the top of this page shows the last update.
