2. **Fast and fluid**: A native list in compiled Swift: quick launches and smooth scrolling, up to 120 Hz on ProMotion displays.

### What is Develak?
Develak is an independent iOS app studio. It designs, builds and publishes native iPhone, iPad and Mac apps in Swift and SwiftUI — for its own catalogue of 34 App Store apps and for clients worldwide.
### How much does it cost to build an iPhone app?
It depends on the scope: the number of screens, the data to store and sync, subscriptions, integrations such as Apple Health, and how much design work is needed. After a first conversation, Develak sends you a written estimate broken down by milestone, so you know what each stage involves before anything starts.
### How long does it take to build an iOS app?
A focused first version (MVP) usually takes a few weeks; a complete app with iCloud sync, subscriptions and widgets takes longer. Milestones are agreed before any code is written, and you can test each one on your own iPhone through TestFlight.
### Why choose native Swift over Flutter or React Native?
Native Swift and SwiftUI apps start faster, feel consistent with iOS and get new Apple features — widgets, Live Activities, Apple Health, App Intents — as soon as they ship. Cross-platform tools make sense when Android is a must from day one; for an iPhone-first product, native is usually the better long-term investment.
### Which platforms does Develak build for?
Apple platforms only: iPhone first, then iPad and Mac from the same Swift codebase when it makes sense. The studio also publishes Mac tools for developers, such as Xlocalize for translating Xcode String Catalogs.
### Can you improve an app that is already on the App Store?
Yes. Develak maintains and improves live apps: yearly iOS updates, bug and crash fixes, new features, App Store Optimization, and localization into new languages.
### Do you work with clients outside the United States?
Yes. Develak works remotely with founders and companies worldwide, in English and French, and ships apps in up to 44 languages.
