This policy applies to the Xlocalize app for Mac, published on the App Store by Develak. ## Who is responsible Xlocalize is published by Develak, a brand of PRIOMAT LLC, a limited liability company registered in New Mexico, USA (2105 Vista Oeste St NW, Suite E - 1324, Albuquerque, NM 87120, USA). PRIOMAT LLC is responsible for the processing described on this page. For any privacy question, write to [contact@develak.com](mailto:contact@develak.com). ## Data you enter in Xlocalize What Xlocalize saves (your settings and the data you work with) stays in the app’s private container on your Mac, protected by macOS. We do not receive this data, and we have no server that collects it. ## Services you connect yourself Xlocalize sends the strings you ask it to translate, with your own API key, directly from your Mac to the AI provider you choose: OpenAI, Anthropic or Google. We never receive your strings or your key, which stays on your Mac in the macOS Keychain. The provider processes your request under its own terms and privacy policy, and bills you directly. ## Purchases and subscriptions Xlocalize is free to download. Optional in-app purchases and subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store, under Apple’s terms. We never receive your name, e-mail address, payment card or billing address. To unlock paid features and restore purchases, the app checks the transaction information signed by Apple, on your device. Apple sends us sales reports that do not identify you. ## Analytics, ads and tracking Xlocalize contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDK, and it never asks for permission to track you. Its App Privacy label on the App Store reads “Data Not Collected”. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your Apple settings, Apple gives us aggregated usage statistics and crash reports that do not identify you. You can turn this off at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements. ## No sale, no sharing We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. Apple, which distributes Xlocalize and operates the App Store and iCloud, processes data under its own privacy policy. ## When you contact us If you write to us about Xlocalize, by e-mail or with our contact form, we receive your name, e-mail address and message, and use them only to answer you. We keep them for 24 months after our last exchange, then delete them. ## Deleting your data Because your data is on your devices and in your own iCloud, you can delete it yourself, at any time: - In the app: use the option to delete your data in the settings of Xlocalize, where available. - Uninstall: move Xlocalize from the Applications folder to the Trash. - Messages you sent us: write to [contact@develak.com](mailto:contact@develak.com) and we will erase them. ## Your rights Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you (in practice, the messages you sent us), to receive a copy of it, or to object to its use. The GDPR (European Union, United Kingdom, Switzerland) and US state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA give many people these rights; we honour them for everyone. Write to [contact@develak.com](mailto:contact@develak.com) with the subject “Privacy request”. We respond within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority, such as the CNIL in France. ## Children Xlocalize is not directed to children under 13 (under 16 in the European Economic Area, unless local law sets a lower age), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. ## Changes to this policy If Xlocalize starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the app’s App Privacy label before releasing that version.
