## A studio you can check on the App Store
Develak publishes its own apps. Since 2025, the studio has designed, built, localized and released 34 apps on the App Store under its own name: health trackers such as Pillio and Seizly, sports logs such as ApexLap and Cragly, hobby journals such as Corkwell and Bonsaiku, utilities such as dB Meter Pro, and 2 Mac tools for developers.
Every one of them is written in Swift and ships in up to 44 languages, and we keep updating them after launch. It is the same work we do for clients: native iPhone, iPad and Mac apps, from the first sketch to the App Store, and through the years that follow.
Develak is an independent studio: the people you talk to are the people who design and build the apps. We work remotely with clients around the world, in English and in French.

## Five rules we build by
They shape our own apps, and every app we build for clients.
1. **Native only**: We build with Apple's own tools: Swift, SwiftUI, SwiftData, CloudKit and StoreKit. Apps feel at home on iPhone, get new iOS features on day one and stay fast and accessible. No cross-platform layer in between.

2. **Privacy by design**: Most of our apps need no account. Data stays on the device and syncs through the user's own private iCloud. Every app has its own privacy page.

3. **Localization first**: Our apps and their App Store pages ship in up to 44 languages. We work with String Catalogs from the first screen, and we built our own Mac tool, Xlocalize, to translate them.

4. **Ship, then maintain**: Launch is only the beginning. We update our apps for each new iOS release, fix what users report and add what they ask for.

5. **Direct access to the people who build**: You talk directly to the people who design and write your app. No account managers and no hand-offs: decisions are made by the people doing the work.
